Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, how often we forget about color in the quest for healing, and how easy it is to apply! God gave us so many beautiful colors, and each one carries its own special vibrational
pattern.

"Be still and know I am God." (Psalm 46:10)
"And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21)We have the power to turn within for guidance, to that perfect place deep within, and through that gift alone we can shape so much of our world. We also have the power (and the responsibility) to act. God will give us the direction if we will ask and then listen, but we have to take action--it's up to us.
"Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said , I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat : and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye ? And they said , Seven, and a few little fishes. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks , and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat , and were filled : and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children. "(Matthew 15:32-38)Notice that Jesus gave thanks before the fishes and loaves were multiplied. What would have happened had he agreed with the disciples that there would not be enough food to share? He knew that there would be enough, and through his faith in God's abundance, there was. This same principle applies in our lives.
"See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks : for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly..." (1 Thessalonians 5:15-23)Let me give a few examples of this. The car is broken. You might give thanks that you have a car! You could give thanks that it can be fixed, for the means to fix it, or for the opportunity to ask a friend for a ride. Perhaps you might think of what could be being prevented by you not having your car. Perhaps you might have been in a car wreck that day, you don't know. Just trust that a blessing is there. We don't always know what it is.
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." (Genesis 1:27)We have creative power over our lives. That was given to us with free will. We can ... << MORE >>
Let me tell you a personal story of healing. I hope it will give insight to you if you're feeling a little bit helpless and hopeless, and inspire you the way I was inspired to do what it takes to get well!
Once upon a time there was a woman (me) who was suffering horribly each day. I had a very painful and debilitating chronic condition, caused by multiple blows to the head. The resulting condition affected every nerve and body response, and various parts of the brain.
Sooooo....I prayed and I prayed and I prayed! I had tried so many things, and prayer was the one thing I stuck with through all.
I had horrible pain. It is hard to describe what this pain did to my life. I had to crawl on my hands and knees to care for my young son, because sometimes I just couldn't walk. Later in life I used a wheelchair to a great extent. Not all the time, but to grocery shop or goo to the mall or the zoo...anywhere with much walking involved. My legs would simply give out.
Through the years, I tried many approaches to dealing with what I was going through. Constant pain every day can easily drive a person insane after awhile, and sometimes that's how I felt. At times, I became desperate. I prayed, yes. And I prayed and I prayed and I prayed. But sometimes I became very weak and I tried ways which were contrary to God...at least in the way that I understand God. To me, God is good, so to do things to harm myself is not doing good, or God's will. But I did the best that I could at any given moment in time.
I had a very young indoctrination into natural health methods, including prayer, meditation, nutrition, herbs, and other holistic ways. Of course I kept using these...
So I kept praying...and praying...and having pain all the time to the point where I thought I would literally go out of my mind and never come back! Why weren't my prayers being answered? I just couldn't understand why I had to go on in this kind of terrible pain.
I was confused. I kept praying and praying but nothing was happening. Then finally I started to become angry with God, and then very, very despondent. Where was MY healing? I had bushel-baskets and barrels full of mustard seed faith!"...If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove ; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. " ~Matthew 17:20
"And the Lord said , If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root , and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you." ~Luke 17:6I believed so completely...so deeply within my heart...that there was a healing for me. I continued to pray, and I prayed and I prayed for more years, but the pain just kept holding on. I was heartbroken when I started to think that perhaps I'd been wrong about that all along.

"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."God has the power to heal, but we must realize that part of that power has been given to us in the way of free will. Much of the healing power is in the food, but if we don't eat it, it does us no good.
~James 2:14-17
"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat." ~Genesis 1:29There is healing power in all that was provided by God since the beginning. It is important that we make proper use of these gifts if we are to be in harmony with our physical beings, for this is our physical world. We must function as spiritual/emotional/physical beings if we are to be in harmony with our design. That is the focus of our studies here.
“Every human being is the author of his own health or disease.” ~BuddhaTrue holistic healing involves healing action in all realms of being. It is not just the spiritual act of praying which makes us physically well, or spiritually well for that matter, but it is also the physical actions we take which account for our physical and spiritual health.
"Those who eat too much or eat too little, who sleep too much or sleep too little, will not succeed in meditation. But those who are temperate in eating and sleeping, work and recreation, will come to the end of sorrow through meditation." ~Krishna from the Bhagavad GitaOf course holistic healing also includes the mental aspect of being along with the spiritual and physical parts, and what we are thinking and feeling plays a huge part in whether or not we get well. We must ask ourselves whether or not we truly believe that we can! It is imperative that we open ourselves up to the possibility in order for it to occur...and it will, if we truly believe. (Back to that mustard seed thought...)
"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Matthew 21:22So healing occurs when --
"The only way to keep your health is to eat what you don't want, drink what you don't like, and do what you'd rather not." ~Mark TwainIt's easy to blame the doctors..."They said there was no cure"...or our age..."I guess I'm just getting old"...or the time of the year..."It must be the flu season"...or God..."It must be God's will"...well it's not! God's will is for us to be well, there is a cure for everything if you believe in the power of God, there are plenty of people older than you, without the flu, and what have YOU been doing to follow God's healing plan? Have you been doing your part??? And by your part I am not talking about taking synthetic drugs...I'm talking about following God's natural plan! Have you been exercising? Eating for healing? Drinking plenty of pure water and getting fresh air? Have you been laughing and reaching out a hand of friendship to others? Have you been looking on the positive side? Have you been avoiding exposure to toxic substances? Have you been resting and taking time for reflection? Have you been getting enough hours of sleep?
"Vibraceous, ND""In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day." (Genesis1:1-5)The sun gives life to the earth with it's energizing rays. All plant life draws its energy from the sun, changing light energy to food energy through the process of photosynthesis. Without the sun there could be no life on this planet at all. Even the air that we breathe is dependent upon the sun. Not to mention that the sun gives us our warmth. Without heat, the planet also could not survive, and so obviously, neither could we. This is why the sun had to come first.
"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." (Matthew 6:22)There are even people called "sungazers" who claim they receive all of their daily nourishment through sun. Can you believe it? It's true! Sun gazing is an ancient form of healing which originated in India about 2600 or so years ago, although I'm sure someone did it long before that. Healing from light can be applied in many ways, and it has long been in practice for both physical health and matters of spiritual insight and growth.
When light enters into the eye it sends a signal to the pineal gland to release more serotonin. Serotonin is a neuro-transmitter which is derived from the amino acid tryptophan. It influences mood, muscle function including the heart, sexual function, appetite, sleep, memory, learning and temperature regulation. Without enough light we can easily become deficient in this, especially if other factors come into play, such as improper nutrition, certain medications, or not getting the right kind of sleep."Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun." (Ecclesiastes 11:7)
The pineal gland has been of great interest to mystics and psychics throughout the ages, being commonly referred to as the "third eye." It is a photosensitive organ, receiving light through the eye and translating it into signals to send
throughout the body, this much is known. But it is also believed to be receptive to light from beyond the physical rea
lm, giving passageway to and from the spiritual world. You will see this light depicted in spiritual pictures from many religions. It is often associated with what is known as the "crown chakra." We must think long and hard before introducing anything artificial into our body. Anything other than natural goes against nature, and the side effects could be very great."What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" (1 Corinthians 6:19)
"Now there is but one God, the author, the creator, the governor of the world; almighty, eternal, and incomprehensible.. The sun is not God, though His noblest image; he enlighteneth the world with his brightness, his warmth givent life to the products of the earth; admire him as the creature, the instrument of God; but worship him not. To the One who is supreme, most wise and beneficent, and to Him alone, belong worship, adoration, thanksgiving, and praise."~Vibraceous, ND(Unto Thee I Grant, Rosicrucian Library, Volume No. V., Book Seven)
So, yes...see and believe in the image of perfect wholeness when you picture the situation you're trying to heal. Have the faith that Peter had when he walked on the sea, and don't lose your faith and fall!"And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt" (Matthew 14:25-31)
"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)Hold this thought of perfection in your mind through the day and practice seeing the situation this way instead of as a problem, particularly when speaking to others about what's going on. If all you speak about is what is currently being manifested in the physical world, then that is where you place your belief. This is a very important point!!!
"What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." (James 2:14-17)So, in order to "Let the Healing Begin..." you must turn your will over to God, or to goodness...to health...to life...to perfection...and allow yourself to demonstrate the healing which is already yours. Get erroneous thinking out of the way. Toss aside erroneous ways of living in the physical world, too. This is the holistic way...Spirit, Mind and Body...the trinity in action. It works! Believe.

In the Beginning...God created everything and saw it as good. Why can't we do the same? To see other than good is to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God said, "...thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (Genesis 2:17) What does this mean to us?
To eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, means to turn our eyes away from God (i.e., good) and imagine that something contrary to this might exist, and actually be better for us.
Please allow me to further explain...Everything was good, as declared, and God is good, so we believe. But we wanted the knowledge of evil. In keeping with the gift of free will, this was so granted to us, and now we know things like hate, greed, fear, lust, envy, and other such things which stem from the belief we are somehow separate from God.
"God hath said," so the story goes on to say in the third chapter of Genesis, "Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die." So now we have death and sickness, because we wanted to KNOW evil instead of just goodness alone.
There are all kinds of evil. There are the obvious types, like hatred and murder and mistreatment of people or creatures. There are those who would do anything for profit and gain. Greed is at the root of much evil, but there are other motives as well. Jealousy, for instance, is at the root of much evil, as is lust, envy or fear.
Fear? Evil? Fear isn't evil...hold on!
Well it can certainly lead to evil acts, if a faith in God or the goodness in life isn't enough to keep us from behaving desperately and doing wrong.
All of these transgressions..."sins"...have one thing in common, as do all transgressions, namely the belief in separation from God...the belief that something or someone can take our good from us, no matter how bad circumstances appear.
That's a big concept to grasp. So big that it encompasses everything that appears to be wrong with the world! I say "appears to be wrong," because the truth is that if we believe that God is all good and everywhere present, working in and through us and each other and every situation in life, then how can it not be good? If it was good in the beginning, what changed? Nothing except that we continue to eat of the fruit every time we choose to look at the world as being something other than good.
There is evil going on in the world...yes. People acting out their knowledge of evil. But this is not what is true and lasting. What's true and lasting is that everything's good, and in the end, good will always prevail.
We have been destroying our world since it was given to us as perfect, yet it survives. Life is meant to survive. Relish in the goodness of LIFE!
Okay, so in relation to health, what does this mean? Well, this means many things. Without health, eventually there is no life, first in quality, then in physical form.
What is it that gives us our health? God does, of course, but through what sorts of means? We are spiritually nourished and healed through prayer, meditation, helping others, laughter and cleansing tears. We are emotionally healed through forgiveness and love of others and of ourselves. Physically we are nourished and healed through various means. The first which comes to mind is our food.
God made food which grows from the earth for our nourishment and health, and "evil" made processed foods...Think about it. Which brings health and which brings death and sickness? I think we all know the answer to that! Do we not?
Please refer to the following website for a little insight on this:
http://www.whatsonmyfood.org
The above link will take you to a database listing pesticides used on various foods and their effects. There are also the effects of preservatives, colorings, and other food additives, not to mention the stripping of nutrients, the effects of genetically modified foods, and even food that's been cloned!
Do you want real food and only real food? As designed by God in accordance with perfect design? Or do you just want the convenience and refined taste found in a package of something labeled and sold as food...complete with the risks and the side effects?
The choice is granted to you through the gift of free will, but the results cannot be blamed on God...What God made in the first place was good. We are the ones who have strayed.
To change our very food from the form in which it was given to us is so foolish...thinking we can feed ourselves better, or for less money, or do it in a tastier or more convenient sort of a way. We were provided with plenty! All PERFECTLY nutritious to give us our health!
But people today eat for convenience...and taste...and for what is cheap...why? The result is sickness and death.
"To eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil will surely cause us to die," is a statement to which we should take heed, especially when referenced to God. . When we veer from the perfect vision of good...when we cease to believe in the goodness of God and of the perfect environment in which we were placed...then we begin to turn to other ways, thinking our problems are too big for God, and we cease to believe in all-good.
We turn to chemical drugs, with deadly side effects often associated with them, and we think goodness will come of this. God already created that which was good, and there were no side effects, and no insurance was needed to use! Yet everyday, people pray for a miracle, when miracles are available each day inn the form of what God has given to us for our health.
I pray that those needing a miracle will have their eyes open so they can see that the miracle is already theirs! There is nothing that cannot be healed, with enough faith, and with enough practical application of what we have had since the beginning when all was created as good.
We, as humans, have this knowledge of evil now...knowledge, not just a casual curiosity or interest but actual knowledge...it has become too familiar to us, and we have become accustomed to the idea God is remote. But God is right here with us now, as is our good.
They say we are known by our acquaintances. Don't be familiar with evil...simply don't "know" it! Deny it and affirm the good and let it express in your life if you want to be healthy and well.
Don't vest your belief in the power of sickness, of poverty, of anything less than what the power of goodness would bring.
Don't be afraid when people hurt you. Realize it's just their inability to keep their focus stayed on the good. Don't fall prey to their false beliefs.
And in your habits, your everyday choices...it is best to forget new and improved! Go for old and already created as good. Forget trying to figure out how to isolate nutrients and medicines, and just eat the herbs and the food as they grow. Stop trying to make them grow faster and bigger than nature intended, and grow them in a way that is good for the earth. The food which grows in natural ways is superior to food grown with synthetic nutrients, pesticides, fertilizers, etc. Food was already created as GOOD.
Natural aroma provides good medicine for us. It imparts healing power straight from the plant, and it is very useful in achieving and maintaining good health. It is part of the original plan. But we bombard our senses each day with artificial fragrances. This is contrary to health, for when we are exposed to synthetic scents, we are exposing ourselves to neuro-toxins, endocrine system disruptors, and respiratory irritants. That is not good. It's the result of cheapening the natural aromas that were given by God, created as good, and turning them into something they're not. It is going against the wisdom of God...trying to do one better for personal gain in the face of scientific evidence that by doing so it is harmful to us. That just doesn't make any good sense (scents!) to me!
Yes, mankind has certainly used knowledge of how to "improve" things to do a lot of damage here in our world. The air, the land, the water...we have polluted it horribly in our desire for whatever profit could be gained by the polluters. Greed is the belief we can get more than our share and that we somehow deserve it. It's evil. It always takes more than it gives and it upsets the balance. Free will. God can fix it though, yes.
How? In many ways. Laughter, for instance, is the best medicine, they say. To take life too seriously...thinking it all depends on our own efforts or that of a doctor or that Wall Street decides our fate...is deadly, I tell you! There is too much stress-related illness today!
And what of love? What of prayer? What of the power of a good night's sleep? If we would but live a life according to perfect design and trust in God's power to heal, then I dare to say we would look at the world and realize that it is good.
In the beginning, in an absolute paradise on earth, we trusted that all was good. We trusted in the goodness of God and of life. It was all we could see. Then we looked to find evil, and now we're afraid. To worry is to trust in the appearance of evil...not good. To have faith is to believe that our design is perfect and that we were placed in an environment which can sustain life. Look to what we were given for that and don't worry about whether or not there is a cure. There is ALWAYS a cure when we look to what God created as good!
God is Life. The very life that soars through our being and throughout the entire universe. Live in accordance with Life! Life begets life begets life. Poisons, be they in our foods, in our medicines, in our air, water or mind, beget death. My advice to all is to stick with that which we know is good, as created in the beginning, and let "knowledge" of things contrary to this pass us by. New-fangled is not always best! What we had in the beginning was good.
Love. When we express something other than love, then we express something other than God. How do we expect to be well with hatred, envy, jealousy and greed in our hearts? We need to look at others, and at ourselves, and see GOOD. See God in them and us. Even those we would hate, send them prayers...send them love...believe in the goodness in them or we can't truly believe in the goodness of all. If they are not expressing their good, send them love anyway...that way you'll be expressing YOURS.
VERY good. In fact, it was a paradise! We were provided with everything that we need!"God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." (Genesis 1:31)
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." (Genesis 1:27)Good health is a nat
ural thing. We don't have to acquire it; we have to let it unfold, as naturally as a flower unfolds. We don't have to force it, or pry it, or beg it to unfold. What a naturally beautiful thing!
